As many of you know, a number of us from Omaha are involved with a conference in Kansas City this week—Highlight Midwest
The goal of the conference is to “highlight” or showcase the interesting/exciting things that are going on in KC, Des Moines & Omaha regarding technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and social media. This will include presentations by each of the cities, as well as a panel discussion. From Omaha, myself, Jeff Slobotski and Matt Secoske will be presenting. Our presentation will focus on Silicon Prairie News, and how we’re using it to build community and bring entrepreneurs out of the woodwork.
I want to invite you to join us online and watch the video LIVE on Wednesday (10/29) from 5pm-8pm. We’re very excited to showcase the exciting things happening in Omaha, and would love for you to join us. Our goal is to get 100+ people online watching the keynote/panel!
